Founded in 1954, Black Rock Retreat (BBR) is a Christian camp and conference center nestled on 100 wooded acres in Quarryville, PA. A rebrand provided an opportunity to reconnect with campers, families, and supporters while strengthening BBR’s identity within the community. Inspired by the natural beauty of its woodland surroundings, the new brand pairs organic elements with clean, modern typography. The result is a refreshed identity that honors BBR’s rich history while positioning it for the years ahead. I designed the logo, stationery, signs, brochures and additional yearly programing materials.
For years, campers and guests have made the most of limited indoor activity spaces, outdated cabins, and less-than-ideal kitchen and dining facilities. We set out to create a vibrant, engaging campaign to rally support for these much-needed improvements. Featuring bold photography of campers and guests, playful graphic elements, and eye-catching headlines and quotes, the campaign brings BRR’s vision to life and builds momentum for the next chapter of its facilities.
